Easy day. Did nothing, except walk a bit. First trip was for booze replenishment. It's 20 percent more expensive here than Varanasi !!!! Second trip was to the confluence. That totals to 11 kilos of down then uphill today. Earned my drink(s). Wore shoes. Made it so much easier that flip flops. Got a bit fed up with aloo parotha for breakfast. Tried to convince the guy that I'd buy the eggs, and he could make the omelette. Did not work. So had aloo parotha. No more. Never again on this trip, till memory lasts or hunger catches up. Walked up the highway, away from town before breakfast. Got on to a field. Could not get too close to the edges. Dung, of different animals. The view, any time of the day, in any direction, is beautiful. Got back to breakfast. Then headed into town for the booze trip. Walked past the shop without seeing it. Then asked. Good evening. Have free wifi at the hotel !!!! And, a room geyser. And, a shower. But lunch was screwed. Cook came in after I had finished eating. Believe he was out on a walk, so assistant cook made aloo gobi for lunch. Could see neither the aloo or the gobi !! Bugger boiled the stuff then cooked it a pit of oil. Saved you guys the sight of it. That's the worst part of the day. Got it out, so am good. Have even found that there is a booze shop here. Got to plan ahead. It is now hot. Have air-conditioning working. But day after, some parts may freeze and drop off IF I end up with no booze on a cold freezing evening. You wouldn't like that to happen to me, right ?? Nor would I. So, will stock up to last me for the hills. Left early enough. After I helped the cook open the kitchen.  Posted yesterday's travel. Departed at 0630 with odo meter at 7746. Woke up late 0630. Did the R II post. Had two glasses of coffee. Had to wake the cook up for boiling hot water. Water from a heater is not hot enough for morning coffee.  It is now expected that I will greet all else. If I stay long enough they will give me the keys to the kitchen. I am done with my coffee and posts by the time I get an glimpse of any other guest. So grateful for the peace. Breakfast was reduced by two toasts and the banana. Aloo parotha and eggs went in. With kothambali podina chutney. Dangerous. Cut lunch down in terms of Rotis, only 2. Maintained quantum of dal and vegetables. Pigging time is finished. Then, did what I had done before lunch, let my backside grow roots. A number of couples had checked in last evening and this morning. Mostly vellai, one from Mumbai. Mumbai couple is friendly. The Russian is still visible. Two days with only water. The Israeli couple is very much here and will be here for a few more day. Very nice to meet grounde

What a great day yesterday was. Woke up at a relaxed 0600 hours. Late as far as the last 10 days have been. Went down to the common area for coffee. Carried my own Tata Grand, as the Nescafe is just not right. And tea here is milk filled. Data signals were great, so got to post my blog for yesterday. Went down to check on my vehicle. And, show you the path up. Had a very very heavy breakfast. These guys feed you. Two eggs, two slices of toast, one aloo parotha - full of aloo, and a banana. Did not move for the next hour. Around 11am, headed out on a walk up a steep gravel  road, and then on to a narrow steeper path. Nearly fell a few times, but was on the whole okay. The path joined back to the road, where I met the Isaraeli couple who had left a while before me. The road went up for about 45 minutes, till it hit a small genuine farm house. By then, I was drenched in sweat, cobwebs all over my head and arms. Sat around for a while
